    • Account data: name, email, and authentication identifiers (including Google OAuth profile data when you sign in with Google).
    • Subscription data: plan, billing status, and payment metadata processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
    • Usage data: brands you track, searches you run, notification preferences, and timestamps.
    • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and basic log data needed to operate the service.

    3. How we use information

    • Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
    • Process subscriptions and send transactional emails (e.g. receipts, daily ad notifications).
    • Detect abuse and protect the security of our users and infrastructure.
    • Comply with legal obligations.

    4. Third-party services

    We rely on a small number of trusted providers: Supabase (database & auth), Stripe (payments), Google (OAuth sign-in), and public ad-library APIs (Meta, Google, LinkedIn) to surface competitor ads. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

    5. Cookies

    We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

    6. Data retention

    We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time; some records (e.g. invoices) may be retained where required by law.

    7. Your rights

    Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/UK GDPR and Turkey's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

    8. Security

    We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, row-level security on our database, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

    9. Children

    RivalAds is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

    We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
